This is where you will find the definitions to meanings to things related to second life, papillon and this site.

Word | Definition |
---|---|
AOE | This is abbreviated as Area of Effect. Also known as the range or burst range of effect. Also known as RADIUS |
Archtype | This is the SPECIFIC Job your bug will do for your garden and OR with other bugs. Each Archtype has its own job it can do that is ONLY for one job. This is to NOT be confused with CLASSED bugs.
SO if you have a CLASSED bug and an Archtype its like your bug has 2 different jobs to benefit your garden and not just 1.
EXAMPLE: A Luckbinder
occasionally creates bursts of Morale and Loyalty
where as a
Mistwalker
occasionally creates Mist and Tends your plants
Luckbinder

NOTE: Archtypes are exclusive to Snails/hoppers/fish/bugs/wisps AND NOT TO PLANTS or EMBERS. |
Base Class | base class - is the starting (non classed) part of the breedable-basically, its the over all name of the type of bug that you are starting with. This will have its starting function as that breedable type |
Class | This is the Specific Job title your bug will do for your garden and with other bugs. Some classes are eternal normally.
You CANNOT have 2 different Classes on bugs
NOTE: Classes are exclusive to Snails/hoppers/fish/bugs/wisps AND NOT TO PLANTS or EMBERS. |
Emblem | This is the 1 prim static BREEDABLE object that represents your papillon. This is often ONLY for breedable bugs. This also the lower scripted item. Also this will not show the bug in FULL prim mode,the particle effects, the body, wing/etc. You can convert back to a FULL prim mode to see the papillon in its regular way by using the appropriate updaters- There are 2 different styles of these updaters for most of the bugs that have emblem capability. so you can pick a design you like that suits your taste for your garden. |
First release | This is the first set of plants/pets that were introduced in Second Life for Papillon Breedables. This term is also for when a new plant or bug was introduced into Second Life. I.E Radishes 2021 @v18a (which are now @v18c) |
Mood | This is the temperament of the plant itself. Mood is ONLY pertaining to plants and not to the bugs/wisps. The moods have the ability to affect the body texture and productivity of the plants |
RGB | This is the color system for Papillon Breedables that represents the general color of particles or a tinting of papillon. RGB (red, green and blue) refers to a system representing the colors used on a digital display screen. Red, green and blue can be combined in various proportions to obtain any color in the visible spectrum. |
Radius | a straight line extending from the center of a circle or sphere to the circumference or surface: The radius of a circle is half the diameter. the length of such a line. any radial or radiating part. In Papillon the range of the accessories will in RADIUS...so depending on how far your accessory range is so will be its radius. |
Rez | This is the method in which you place down your items in world. |
Tintable | This is the color of the texture of a particle or the papillon itself. This will be in the RGB of the hover text of the item itself. SO the particle or papillon itself will take on the color that the RGB is displaying |
